Volkswagon Audition - February 21

Late Monday night I received a text to check our casting website that we had an audition request.  So being very new to this, it took me about a half hour to figure out which site they were talking about (we are on three) and which passwords to use.
I finally logged in and saw that a casting company was requesting for Morgan to audition for a Volkswagon Jetta commercial.  WHAT?!  I was floored.  I confirmed the audition and told Dan and he was slightly less excited than I was.  In fact he said, "thats great, did you wash any whites?"
So I ran around like crazy figuring out how I was going to fit that into today's schedule.
So I took Morg to school this morning and got everything prepped for another drive to LA.
This audition was very close to the one we went to on Saturday.   We had never been there before so I made sure we left extra early.  I still couldn't find the place.  It ended up being on the second floor of a Petco building.
We entered into a tiny door off the street and went up three flights of stairs.  We entered into this giant room that had a sign that said "Check chalkboard for room assignments."  The outside of the room was filled with numbered doors and the middle of the room was filled with children, adults, and animals.
So we found the door we were supposed to be at and I signed her in.  Then we went to sit down.  A little girl sitting next to us holding an Iphone said to Morgan, "this is my own cell phone."
Morgan said, "so."  The girl said, "I don't share with my mom or dad, it's mine."  Morgan said, "these are my own clothes, I don't share with my mom and dad, they are mine." LOLOLOL thats my girl.
That was enough to shut the brat up.
Minutes later Morgan was called into a room (without me again) for the audition.
And just five minutes after that she came out.  She sat down next to me and said, "ok lets go."
And we left.
That was it.
2 hours to get there, another 2 hours to get home for a total of MAYBE 10 minutes.
Crazy.  But Morgan said it went well.  This is her when we got back in the car
So then we began our drive home and she started telling me how great she did and how excited she was when she said her lines and that she was the best and loudest and prettiest.  WOW I was floored, even more so when she said that all of that was a LIE!  Yes, she has started to tell pretty lengthy stories lately or lies if you will.  She did say she did her best though.
I had to use the bathroom so we went into the Petco on the front side of the building. Morgan said she loved the pet stores in "the city." I told her when she booked her first job I would get her a guinea pig, thats what she really wants.
We headed back to the 10 fwy and I asked Morg what she thought about the houses lining La Brea (not the best area).  She said she especially liked this one:
because it was pink of course and because of the curtain (sheet) hanging in the window.  In fact her words were "I love that shack it has a beautiful curtain in the window."  Who knows where she learned the word shack or why she chose to use it here when talking about what she thought was a "beautiful" home next to this roach motel, but I let it go.
So driving on, in traffic, she told me I had to take a picture of "the city" as we went by. She then took about a million of them with the ipad.
We stopped for food, she wanted Jack in the Box and we headed home to get ready for another day of who knows what?!
