H&M, Ralph Lauren Boy, This is CRAZY - February 25

Another disclaimer: I write these things quickly and late at night.  I may miss some of the most funny parts of the day so I will let my sister comment and fill those in.  Also I may not spell everything right or use the best grammar.  Thank you.

Woke up this morning exhausted but excited.  I let Morgan sleep as long as possible.  And just a side note, the fighting the night before was all for nothing. Daniel slept the WHOLE NIGHT!!!
We got ready and I put about five other outfits in the car and we left to pick up our stylist, hahaha, aka my sister, aka aunty, aka the best ever!
Our audition time for H&M was 10:40am at Smashbox Studios in Culver City.  Our fourth trip to the LA area this week.
We found the studio and then looked for somewhere to go the bathroom and get a quick power snack for Morgan.  My sister spotted a Chevron so we stopped there and she took Morgan to the bathroom and came back with snacks and scratchers.  If you know anything about my sister and I we LOVE scratcher lotto tickets.  I mean we are addicted.  And yes I do let Morgan sometimes scratch a few.
We left the gas station and went to the parking lot at the studio where the audition was being held to scope out the competition.  My sister said she didn't see anything great so we started scratching our tickets when my sister's husband called.  Morgan wanted to talk to Uncle Erik and she AGAIN called us out.  He must have asked her what we were doing and she said, "Oh nothing, just eating junk food and scratching off lotto tickets."  Our secret addiction with a 5 year old conspiring is now out in the open!
We didn't win any money off of those like we did off the ones a few days ago HAHAHA
Then we got Morgan ready and headed in.  Here she is in the parking lot before we went inside.

This audition was slightly different from the others because we didn't sign in.  Instead we waited in along line for our turn.  We happened to be behind a little boy named Jackson.  I thought he was stinking cute and so did Morg who quickly struck up a conversation with him and they played angry birds on the ipad together.  In speaking with Jackson's mom I noticed they had the same agent.  She told me about the things he had done and my jaw just dropped, so did Cara's.
THIS is JACKSON:

I stole this picture from the Ralph Lauren website where he is currently one of their top child models.  You may have seen him in Gap ads, a few commercials, Osh Kosh BGosh, etc.
He is amazing and a normal kid.  Morgan loved him, they were singing LMFAO while we waited for their turn.  So cute.  Oh and he got the H&M print ad last year so he's pretty much a shoo in.
Morgan went after him at the audition, it was a mini photo shoot, she did great, but so did the thousands of other kids who were also there i'm sure.
Jackson's mom and I exchanged numbers for a play date.  (I have more pictures of Jackson and Morgan I will share tomorrow, they are on the ipad, I'm too tired to get it.)
We headed back towards home and I took Morgan to dance class. (no her day isn't over yet)  She had a private dance lesson for her solo which she debuts at her first competition in two weeks.
Then we went home.  Daphne missed her and she played with her sister and brother before she passed out pretty early.  Daphne was a little upset with her sister being gone so much

I tried taking a cute picture of them in their matching sun dresses from grandma but Daphne was mid swing.  Morgan got upset and so that ended our play time.
Now I'm feeling pretty beat, kids are in bed, Dan gets off work at 3am so Im going to grab some sleep until then.  I don't think I'm lucky enough to have Daniel sleep through the night two nights in a row but we shall see.
BTW, this is a crazy crazy week we've had!!! OH and i made baby food squash all by myself today AND gas is almost five dollars a gallon WHAT WHAT??

Car Smogged, Shopping, Dodge Caravan, Shopping - February 24

Before I begin this post for this very long and busy day, I want to add a disclaimer.  If for whatever reason you don't see an equal amount of photos of my precious Daphne, it isn't because she is the "middle child" (please don't ever say that it irritates me and makes me want to rip people's vocal chords out), it's simply because she HATES having her picture taken.  She runs from me and puts her hands over her face.  So there you go.
And here we go beginning with the morning.  Morgan woke up late, didn't have time to do her hair how I wanted to in preparation for the audition right after school.  I dropped her off at school and went to meet Dan at the gas station where our friend Ryan works to get my car smogged for registration.
I picked Dan up and we went to run some errands while it was being smogged.
I thought I needed a different shirt for Morgan's Dodge audition tonight and I also wanted her Zed card printed out.  Her management company has been slacking on this and I didn't want to go to another audition without it, especially with H&M tomorrow.
I had them email it to me and I called my sister to see if she could put it on a cd so I could take it somewhere and get a few copies printed.
So off we went shopping, picking up my sister, and dropping dan back off at the gas station to pick up my car.
So now here is something pretty stupid to write about but it played into my day.  When I went shopping the first time, they gave me a pair of shoes that I didn't buy, and didn't want.  So after my sister and I dropped Dan off we went shopping again, to give back the shoes and then my sister (who has now been dubbed Morgan's "stylist") managed to find something way better than what I picked out.
Then we went to print off copies of her Zed card and headed to pick up Morgan from school.  Might I add that this whole time, since 10am, my fantastic and amazing baby boy has been sleeping in the car.
He didn't wake up until almost 2pm.

We picked up Morgan from school and headed home to get ready to go.
We decided on an outfit, threw her in the shower, did the hair, grabbed everything we needed and headed out.
Since we have started doing these auditions we haven't been eating very well.  We've been running and gunning and haven't preplanned enough.  This time was no exception.
We got to the audition location early (santa monica) and grabbed some food, Arby's.  My sister claims she eats the worst when she's with us and after this weekend I vow to be better at this whole last minute audition planning process we have been thrown into.
We found a place to park, which is always tricky for thse things.
We walked in and noticed quite a few people waiting.  I signed Morgan in and she had a seat to wait for her turn.

One of the ladies helping with the casting introduced Morgan to her fake brother, sister and dad.  You should have seen Morgan's face.  I had to explain to her that it was just for commercial purposes and that we weren't giving her away or anything.  (my fault for asking her when she's bad if she would like to go live with another family, woops).
She got along great with Ryan, the fake brother, who she thought was cute.
They called the kids in along with the first fake dad.
Then they kept Morgan in there for two other fake dads.  Which could be a good sign.
After that we left and spent about an hour and a half in traffic.
We made a quick stop at Panera for a "snack," and then our stylist, aka my sister, decided what we had picked out for the H&M audition tomorrow wasn't good enough and that she could do better.
Well could she do better with only 10 minutes? Because after arriving at Ontario Mills from Santa Monica on a Friday during rush hour, thats all the time we had before they closed.
We spoke to the people there and I think they cut us some slack and let us stay a little past closing.
My sister found some amazing alternatives and we headed out of the mall.
We didn't really share with anyone that we were making another shopping stop for fear we would be perceived as CRAZY! But Morgan fixed that.  She spoke with my mom on the phone and told her we just got kicked out of the mall because it was closing.
SIGH
So after arriving home by about 10:30 I got Morgan in bed and prepared for tomorrow.
Dan and I fought about who was going to get up with Daniel based on who had the longer and harder day today and who had the longer and harder day tomorrow.  We fell asleep without coming to a decision.

Normal Day, Almost - February 23

Today turned out to be fairly normal, nothing too exciting to share.  Morgan had school, I stayed home and tried to get caught up on housework and laundry with Daphne and Daniel and then we all went to ballet class together.  On the way home from ballet I got a phone call from Morgan's manager asking if we had received the email about tomorrow's Dodge Caravan audition and could we please confirm whether or not we would be there.
I hadn't received the email but I asked her agent a few questions and said yes we could be there.
I then went into crisis mode!  Luckily Dan had the day off so figuring out whether or not I was going to take the kids or who was going to watch them was fairly easy.
BUT we did plan to have a date night and see Act of Valor and we quickly had to give that up.
Instead of my sister watching the kids for date night I asked if she wanted to go with us to the audition.  I'm not sure if she wanted to but she said she would anyway.
I then spent the rest of the night preparing for what instantly turned into a very busy Friday!

Daniel Gets An Agent - February 22

Well we recovered from the crazy day yesterday.  I was able to get a few things done today.  I went to Sprouts to get fresh fruit and vegetables, I decided I'm going to make Daniel's baby food.  He's a rather large baby so instead of spending $100 a week on Gerber, I think I'm going to try and make my own.  I bought the supplies but have yet to attempt it.  I will provide an update on that process.
As I was getting out of the car at Sprouts I got an email from Morgan's agent that said they loved the picture I sent them of Daniel and would like to represent him.  They said they already put him up on the casting sites and could I please fill out the client information form and send it back to them.
HOLY MOLY
As if my life wasn't busy enough.  I am very excited for him though. :o) But now they want me to send them a picture of Daphne.  SIGH.
This post is going to be short for today.  Just got all the kids to bed and now I need to get some sleep.
Who knows what tomorrow holds.  What I do know it holds is grocery store, school for Morgan and dance class for Morgan.  Everything else, just up in the air.
BTW, here is the picture they liked for the casting site.
oh and if anyone would like to leave comments on what you think his stage name should be feel free!  His full name is Daniel John Renear so we can do a combination of things.  Right now it's just Daniel Renear.  I'm not opposed to that but I'm open to lets say "DJ" or "Danny" Renear...etc
Goodnight!

Volkswagon Audition - February 21

Late Monday night I received a text to check our casting website that we had an audition request.  So being very new to this, it took me about a half hour to figure out which site they were talking about (we are on three) and which passwords to use.
I finally logged in and saw that a casting company was requesting for Morgan to audition for a Volkswagon Jetta commercial.  WHAT?!  I was floored.  I confirmed the audition and told Dan and he was slightly less excited than I was.  In fact he said, "thats great, did you wash any whites?"
So I ran around like crazy figuring out how I was going to fit that into today's schedule.
So I took Morg to school this morning and got everything prepped for another drive to LA.
This audition was very close to the one we went to on Saturday.   We had never been there before so I made sure we left extra early.  I still couldn't find the place.  It ended up being on the second floor of a Petco building.
We entered into a tiny door off the street and went up three flights of stairs.  We entered into this giant room that had a sign that said "Check chalkboard for room assignments."  The outside of the room was filled with numbered doors and the middle of the room was filled with children, adults, and animals.
So we found the door we were supposed to be at and I signed her in.  Then we went to sit down.  A little girl sitting next to us holding an Iphone said to Morgan, "this is my own cell phone."
Morgan said, "so."  The girl said, "I don't share with my mom or dad, it's mine."  Morgan said, "these are my own clothes, I don't share with my mom and dad, they are mine." LOLOLOL thats my girl.
That was enough to shut the brat up.
Minutes later Morgan was called into a room (without me again) for the audition.
And just five minutes after that she came out.  She sat down next to me and said, "ok lets go."
And we left.
That was it.
2 hours to get there, another 2 hours to get home for a total of MAYBE 10 minutes.
Crazy.  But Morgan said it went well.  This is her when we got back in the car
So then we began our drive home and she started telling me how great she did and how excited she was when she said her lines and that she was the best and loudest and prettiest.  WOW I was floored, even more so when she said that all of that was a LIE!  Yes, she has started to tell pretty lengthy stories lately or lies if you will.  She did say she did her best though.
I had to use the bathroom so we went into the Petco on the front side of the building. Morgan said she loved the pet stores in "the city." I told her when she booked her first job I would get her a guinea pig, thats what she really wants.
We headed back to the 10 fwy and I asked Morg what she thought about the houses lining La Brea (not the best area).  She said she especially liked this one:
because it was pink of course and because of the curtain (sheet) hanging in the window.  In fact her words were "I love that shack it has a beautiful curtain in the window."  Who knows where she learned the word shack or why she chose to use it here when talking about what she thought was a "beautiful" home next to this roach motel, but I let it go.
So driving on, in traffic, she told me I had to take a picture of "the city" as we went by. She then took about a million of them with the ipad.
We stopped for food, she wanted Jack in the Box and we headed home to get ready for another day of who knows what?!

Doctors for Daph - February 20

It's amazing how you can do nothing all morning and still feel like you just ran a marathon.  Daphne was still seeming a little under the weather this morning so we made a doctors appt for 2pm.  So that tricked me into thinking we had tons of time.
It takes about thirty minutes to get to the drs office and at 1:40 I was still running around the house trying to get three kids fed, dressed, packed up and out the door.
Went outside and realized Daphne's car seat was in my moms car so then began the car seat switch with three kids staring at me like I was a sweaty mad woman.
Oh and yes, dad was home!!!  He was showering of course, something I never seem to have time for until 11pm at night.
So we made it to the drs office, late.
Dan waited in the car with Daniel and Morgan since I predicted it would be a quick visit.  Boy was I wrong.  Here's daph though in great spirits about an hour and a half into the wait
She was in great spirits because the doctor said NOTHING was wrong!  I guess she was just having a bad day.
Morgan goes back to school tomorrow, Dan goes to work and I begin a long week of dance classes, modeling classes and auditions!
(no call back yet for Saturday's audition)

Daphne's First Movie - Feb 19

I slept in today until 9:45am.  Amazing.  I took a nighttime cold pill last night and it really knocked me out, so it wasn't on purpose that I slept in.  Dan tried to wake me up but I couldn't open my eyes to get up with the babies!
So my mom decided to take Morgan and Daphne to the movies today.   It was going to be Daphnes first movie experience and Morgan was not happy about it.
She kept telling us that Daph was too young.  Really she just didn't want to share the experience with her little sister yet.
Daphne went, but I ended up having to pick her up after about 45 minutes.  I think she did great considering she didn't have a nap.
Daniel had his first full meal of baby food and loved just sitting in the high chair staring at the dog afterwards

He really liked that little toy too we put on his tray!
Daphne was very cranky after dinner, she finished her antibiotic for her recent ear infection but was still acting irritable.  We decided we would take her to the dr in the morning.
Got the kids bathed and daddy went to the store and brought home starbucks for little Morg and me afterwards.  We enjoyed it while we watched Amazing Race.
That ends a pretty uneventful and lazy Sunday!
(no call back for the audition the day before yet :o/ )
